Earthquakes In My Area

Earthquakes happen all the time, especially here in Alaska. We are a bit more worried about earthquakes here, since Tsunamis are a big possibility with every earthquake of decent magnitude. Here are some screenshots of some of the earthquakes that have happened recently: 

One thing I noticed about these is they are lower than 4 magnitude or close to it, and most are closer to the volcanoes. I didn't really understand or care for earthquakes until I moved to Alaska 6 years ago. There have been a few 5.8 and higher magnitude earthquakes that almost caused Tsunamis for us. I definitely became more aware and prepared for them as time went on.
